This position is central to ensuring operational stability through on-site inspection, local operation, monitoring, and routine minor maintenance. Your area of responsibility covers critical plant infrastructure, including Boiler and Turbine/Generator equipment, Balance-of-Plants (BOP) auxiliaries, Powerblock & BOP Fire fighting systems, and the Seawater Intake facility.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, monitor, and record the physical condition and operating values of the Boiler/Turbine generator and related auxiliary equipment, reporting any abnormalities to the Supervisor.
  • Regulate and adjust auxiliary equipment using local controls as instructed by the Control Room Engineer or Shift Supervisor.
  • Perform test-runs on emergency generators and all stand-by equipment to ensure reliability.
  • Perform lock-out tag-out procedures and comply strictly with all occupational safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering. Registered Engineer preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in a power generation plant or 3 years in an industrial plant.
  • Knowledge: Proficiency in the Mechanical and Electrical Systems of Boilers and Turbine/Generators, including their design, operation, and maintenance
