Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc (KCFI) is a non-government, not-for-profit organization based in Pasig, Philippines. KCFI focuses on developing and distributing curriculum-based multimedia learning resources for ECD, K-to-12, and the Alternative Learning System. It also implements professional development programs for teachers and education leaders to enhance educational experiences.

Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated
Instructional Content Developer
to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality instructional materials for on-air and online educational content.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development

  • Design instructional materials, including scripts and content guides, based on established learning theories and identified educational needs.
  • Justify the selection of topics and instructional design approaches to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the project management team and script committee to produce engaging and impactful educational content.

Production Review & Quality Assurance

  • Review sequence treatments, scripts, and other educational materials to ensure alignment with DepEd standards and Knowledge Channel's educational goals in terms of accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Assess scripts and storyboards before production to maintain high-quality educational standards.
  • Prepare research materials and content guides for writers and content developers.
  • Develop edit plans, conduct content screenings, and preview materials before airing or publishing to ensure accuracy in data, concepts, visuals, and other multimedia elements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Family Life and Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of professional experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational content creation.
  • Communication and Writing skills
  • Content Development and Instructional Design skills
  • Experience in Technical Writing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of educational technologies and multimedia tools
