JOB SUMMARY / PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. The Loans Bookkeeper handles the daily posting of loan collection payments in the Web Loan System and checks and balances  posted payments in the system at the end of the day.

  2. The Loans Bookkeeper monitors bounced and postdated checks and endorses accounts with new missed payments to the Collection Department.

  3. The Loans Bookkeeper assists clients with adjustment requests on their due date and endorses the request to the Cash Department.

  4. The Loans Bookkeeper monitors full payment of accounts and ensures the issuance of a Certificate of Full Payment.

  5. The Loans Bookkeeper validates loan payment posted to ensure accuracy to the system.

  6. The Loans Bookkeeper monitors the collection status of loan accounts.

  7. The Loans Bookkeeper ensures completeness of manual posting in GL net.
