Position Overview
The Legal Generalist is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements to ensure full adherence to applicable laws and government regulations. This role supervises assigned legal and administrative staff, provides guidance on corporate compliance matters, and coordinates with regulatory agencies such as the SEC, BIR, DOLE, and LGUs for permits, licenses, and registrations. The Legal Generalist also supports the organization in contract review, policy formulation, and risk management initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & Corporate Governance
- Ensure timely preparation, filing, and submission of reports, licenses, permits, and registrations with regulatory bodies such as:
- SEC – General Information Sheet (GIS), annual filings, corporate amendments, etc.
- BIR – registration, updates, compliance with tax-related documentary requirements.
- DOLE – reports, compliance with labor standards, workplace regulations.
- LGUs & Other Agencies – mayor's permits, barangay clearances, and other business-related permits.
- Monitor updates in laws and regulations to provide management with timely guidance.
- Maintain and update corporate records, registrations, and compliance calendars.
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and revise contracts, MOAs, NDAs, and other legal documents to protect company interests.
- Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and risk exposures.
Policy & Risk Management
- Assist in formulating and reviewing internal company policies to ensure compliance with labor and corporate laws.
- Identify potential risks and recommend preventive or corrective measures.
- Support management in handling labor, administrative, or corporate legal matters.
Supervisory Functions
- Supervise and mentor a team of legal and administrative staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate interdepartmentally to ensure compliance and proper documentation across business units.
Advisory & Support
- Act as an internal legal resource, providing advice on compliance and regulatory issues.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Support management in legal due diligence for business expansion, mergers, or new ventures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Management, Political Science, or related field; Lawyer or Paralegal certification is an advantage.

Work Arrangement
- In-person, 6 days a week (10AM to 7PM)
- Holiday duty, as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
