Team Leadership: Manage and lead construction teams, subcontractors, and other staff, coordinating daily operations and ensuring effective communication.
Safety Oversight: Implement and enforce safety procedures, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring a safe working environment.
Scheduling and Planning: Oversee project timelines, ensure resources are efficiently allocated, and adjust plans as necessary to address challenges or delays.
Quality Control: Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records, report on project progress, and ensure proper documentation for compliance and future reference.
Budget Management: Oversee financial aspects, including tracking project costs, managing expenses, and ensuring the project stays within budget.
Job Specification
Educational Attainment Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. In some cases, equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Skill Strong understanding of tunneling methods, design specifications, geotechnical considerations, and construction processes.
Years of Experience (typically 7+ years) in tunnel construction or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
