Role Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Officer to oversee all legal matters of the company. The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with business, corporate, labor and contract laws, providing sound legal advice to Management, drafting and reviewing contracts, and representing the company in dealings with government agencies and external stakeholders.

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to management and departments on business, corporate, labor and contract law matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Handle legal concerns related to labor and employment, including compliance with government labor laws.
  • Represent the company in external legal communications, hearings or negotiations when necessary.
  • Manage relationships with external counsel, regulators and government agencies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of legal matters.
  • Liaise with external counsel, regulators, insurers and government agencies.
  • Supervise and guide the legal team to ensure effective handling of legal tasks and compliance matters.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Business, Labor, Corporate, and Contract Law
  • Skills in Legal Consulting and Legal Document Preparation
  • Strong understanding of Philippine corporate, labor, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent drafting, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in corporate, labor, contract, management or legal support work.
