Job Type: Full-Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Performs laboratory examinations under the supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist

  2. Extracts blood samples

  3. Helps in the maintenance of quality control programs of the laboratory equipment and supplies

  4. Review quality control results and troubleshoot issues and conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques

  5. Validates laboratory results

6.Charges and bills the patient for laboratory examinations

  1. Performs all assigned tasks

  2. Ensures proper supervision of trainees until training is completed

  3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment like microscopes and all automated machines

  4. Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments

  5. Maintaining accurate records on all procedures performed

  6. Adhere to all laboratory safety procedures performed

13.Assists the Chief Medical Technologist in monitoring and inventory of reagents and supplies in all sections

  1. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the proper collections and handling specimens

  2. Stay current with advances in laboratory technology and maintain licensure and certification requirements
