We are looking for a talented and motivated Manga Comic & Animation Intern to help bring our vision to life.

Position Overview:

As a Manga Comic & Animation Intern, you will be an integral part of our creative team, working on projects that showcase in comic and animated forms. You'll gain invaluable hands-on experience by contributing to the launch of a live startup, helping develop the character and brand identity, and playing a key role in making him a beloved, heroic figure in Filipino culture. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in a startup environment, with mentorship and guidance to help you grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create manga-style comics featuring in fun, heroic adventures, driving the brand's identity.

  • Animate select comic sequences, bringing to life using digital animation tools (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, etc.).

  • Work on content for social media, promotional materials, and brand initiatives to build presence.

  • Contribute to brainstorming and creative sessions to develop storyline, identity, and hero-like qualities.

  • Collaborate with a passionate, international team, receiving direct mentorship and feedback from experienced professionals.

Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in manga, animation, and character development.

  • Proficiency in digital drawing and illustration (Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or similar software).

  • Basic knowledge of animation techniques (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, etc.).

  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.

  • Detail-oriented with an understanding of how to maintain brand consistency and visual storytelling.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience or a portfolio that showcases manga artwork and animation.

  • Familiarity with Filipino culture and how it can be integrated into storytelling and design.

  • A passion for working in a startup environment and contributing to a brand's development.
