Roving Cook

The Roving Cook will be assigned to various branches as a reliever cook and will be responsible for ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly in the absence of regular staff. This role includes training new kitchen helpers, overseeing kitchen standard operating procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality across all visited outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

Relieving Duties: Provide cooking support at different branches as needed, ensuring operations continue seamlessly during staff absences or peak periods.

Training: Train and mentor newly hired kitchen helpers, ensuring they are familiar with proper kitchen operations, safety protocols, and food preparation techniques.

Procedure Oversight: Regularly check and ensure that proper cooking procedures and food safety standards are being followed in the kitchens of assigned branches.

Food Preparation: Cook and prepare food products according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in quality and taste.

Inventory Monitoring: Assist in monitoring food inventory, ensuring that necessary ingredients are available and properly stored.

Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of food produced meets company standards and customer expectations.

Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
