Key responsibilities

  • Operate machinery: Run and monitor equipment like conveyors, processing, and packaging machinery according to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor quality: Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards, performing basic tests and reporting any defects or issues to a supervisor.
  • Perform maintenance: Conduct routine checks, perform minor adjustments, and assist with basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness: Adhere to all safety and hygiene procedures, maintain a clean workstation, and report any potential hazards.
  • Document and report: Keep accurate logs of production, downtime, and maintenance activities. Report issues to management and ensure proper documentation is generated and submitted.
  • Material handling: Move and handle raw materials and finished products as needed, sometimes involving general physical handling.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production targets and ensure the efficient flow of the production line.
