THE ROLE (Job Description)

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be part of our Engineering and Technical Services (ETS) Department, translating design concepts into high-performing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design for water and wastewater treatment plant electrical systems, including Load Calculations & Schedule, Single-line Diagrams, Load Consumptions, Lightning and Grounding Calculations, and electrical layouts using CAD software. Knowledge of ETAP is an advantage.
• Manage day-to-day implementation and works on the project site.
• Provide technical assistance in the operation, maintenance, and proper management of all WTP (Water Treatment Plant) and STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) projects.
• Attend meetings and coordinate with the Client's project managers, design engineers, and site engineers as the company's representative when assigned to a project or project site.
• Send and respond to Client's clarifications and requests for information.
• Prepare reports and other pertinent documents required for the project.
• Coordinate with Suppliers and Local Support Partners for requests for quotations, clarifications, and submission of documents for equipment and materials required in the project.
• Work with the Technical Services Team in design processes, strategies, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with other departments/teams for electrical design, material requests, service, safety, etc., to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
• Apply acquired training and knowledge consistently and fully across all areas of work assigned.
• While on-site, regularly submit daily progress reports to the main office and report any significant issues or developments to your immediate supervisor.
• Build amicable relationships and partnerships with authorized client representatives, contractors, engineers, or project managers to ensure smooth and beneficial working relationships.
• Build strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and continued preference for the company's products and services.
• Sustain excellent customer and partner relations and service across all affiliated clients or partners, ensuring client needs—before, during, and post-installation—are met efficiently and with high quality by the Technical Team.
• Conduct product and process presentations for clients and partners when necessary.
• Perform management work such as coordination, documentation, reporting, and liaising between clients or partners and HTPC for requirements, formal requests, progress reports, etc.
• Perform other tasks as required to ensure project success.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Electrical Engineering (PEE) license from PRC is required upon application
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design and site implementation for water/wastewater treatment plants or related process industries
• Experience in any industrial process industries is acceptable if water/wastewater treatment plant experience is unavailable
• Skilled in load calculations, single-line diagrams, electrical layouts, lightning, and grounding calculations
• Proficient in CAD software; knowledge of ETAP is a plus
• Familiarity with site supervision, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Strong understanding of safety standards, regulations, and electrical codes
• Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills
• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations as required
