Steward Supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise the Stewards and support them through training and development
• Ensures that all assets are stored, recorded and secured properly.
• Perform regular inventory of all stored assets and recommends properties for disposal
• Request minor maintenance/preventive cleaning for stored machines, tools and equipment.
• Attends to all the properties concerns and issues of the different departments
• Maintains all records and reports of assets.
• Undertakes routine housekeeping, handling and safekeeping of storage to ensure that safety measures are in place.
• Ensure that the Back of House areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards
• Observe Health, Hygiene and Safety guidelines when handling hazardous substances and comply with all aspects of Health and Safety requirements
• Report and record all faults, misused or damaged equipment issues to the Managers, Executive Chef, and/or Chief Engineering
• Ensure that the machinery is operated properly and safely
• Assist in the location, movement and storage of operational equipment
• Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety and Hygiene Regulations
• Perform other tasks set by the Management

Qualifications

• College Graduate
• At least 2 years of working experience in related field is required for the position
• Preferably with Hospitality Background
• Good Leadership skills and must be flexible
• Willing to be assigned in other Astoria Properties
• Can start immediately
