Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant (Spanish)

Location: McKinley West, Taguig

Schedule: Graveyard Shift (US Hours)

eData Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support our healthcare clients and their Spanish-speaking patient base. This is an exciting opportunity to use your language and medical knowledge in a challenging BPO environment.

The Virtual Assistant is responsible for the professional and accurate delivery of contracted services, with a critical focus on seamless bilingual communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-exam verification of insurance eligibility, benefits and coverage
  • Securing treatment authorization
  • Submitting claims, responding to claim denials, and resolving EOB issues
  • identifying and finding solutions for common billing issues
  • Managing the phones by responding to patient inquiries, scheduling, taking pre-exam histories, confirming appointments, and transferring calls to your other staff
  • Processing mail by posting it to the EHR and overseeing the appropriate follow-up

What We Are Looking For:

  • Language Fluency: Native or near-native fluency in Spanish (both oral and written) is required to communicate effectively with clients, patients, and insurance companies.
  • Must be willing to work full-time on-site at our office in McKinley West, Taguig.
  • Schedule: Willing to consistently work US hours (Graveyard Shift).
  • Communication: Excellent professional communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Work Ethic: Analytical, organized, and systematic; able to work with very minimal supervision.
  • Team Player: Must be a good team player, process-oriented, and follow strict timelines.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Graduate of any Medical Allied Course (highly preferred).
  • Experience: Preferable with experience in a customer service or medical support field within the BPO industry, but Fresh Graduates with the required Spanish fluency are welcome to apply.
  • Technical: Has basic computer knowledge and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
