Job description:

Responsible for processing customer payments for goods and services using Point Of Sales (POS System) or cash registers, providing customer service, handling cash and cards, and balancing cash drawer.

Key of responsibilities:

  • Transaction processing - accurately scanning items, calculating costs, accepting various forms of payment (cash, credit cards, checks), and issuing receipts.
  • Cash handling - receiving and disbursing money, managing cash registers, and balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Customer service - greeting customers positively, assisting with inquiries, and resolving issues or complaints regarding products or pricing.
  • Returns and exchange - processing returns, exchanges, and other merchandise-related transactions accurately.
  • Store support - maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, assisting and stocking, and staying informed about promotions and company policies.

Qualification:

  • At least high school graduate or equivalent
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity with POS System (Point Of Sale)
