Job Description:

As a Sr. Principal Cloud Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of technological innovation, shaping the future of our organization's cloud infrastructure and setting industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead enterprise-wide cloud migration and modernization initiatives across multiple business units and global markets
• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive cloud governance policies to ensure best practices are followed organization-wide
• Design and oversee the implementation of robust security frameworks, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards
• Lead large-scale automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning and management processes
• Architect and implement sophisticated multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to support global operations
• Provide high-level technical leadership and mentorship to principal engineers and technical directors
• Collaborate closely with C-suite executives to align long-term cloud strategies with overarching business objectives
• Drive the evaluation and strategic adoption of cutting-edge cloud technologies at an enterprise level
• Oversee critical performance assessments and capacity planning for global-scale cloud environments
• Lead the resolution of complex issues in multi-regional cloud infrastructures
• Participate in and direct executive-level security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Provide expert consultation on high-stakes, board-level cloud-related decisions

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant work experience in cloud computing and IT infrastructure
• 10-15 years of hands-on cloud computing experience in large-scale, multinational enterprise environments
• Expert-level knowledge of major cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure, and AliCloud
• Mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Advanced programming skills in multiple languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, .NET)
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, OpenShift)
• Proven track record of driving transformative technical change at an enterprise level
• Outstanding communication skills suitable for executive and board-level interactions
• Strong background in IT engineering and operational theories, with the ability to apply them strategically
• Experience in executing, optimizing, and transforming processes following industry frameworks (CMMI, ITIL, Six Sigma)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
