Role Description

This is a remote role for an Online Tutor at The Coding School. You will be responsible for providing virtual instruction, support, and guidance to students covering, among others, basic programming, web development, robotics, engineering, digital literacy, digital design, and private classes. You will facilitate learning sessions, assess student progress, and create engaging educational content.

This position is open for

  • Part-Time and Full-Time Employment
  • Local and Global Applicants

Currently, we are looking for coaches available between April to July for one or more of the following time slots:

Morning:

  • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Afternoon:

  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong work ethic and can work independently
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring especially through online methods
  • Passion for education and inspiring students
  • Knowledge of STEM disciplines. (Data Science, Digital Design [Canva, Filmora, Photoshop] , Financial Literacy, Game Development [Unity, Robotics, Web Development, Programming [C#, Python, JavaScript], among others)
  • Industry experience is a major plus
  • Tech savvy and comfortable with online collaborative tools (Google Workspace - Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) and communication tools (Discord, Asana, Zoom)
  • Possess a reliable internet connection and a personal laptop or desktop pc
