A Restaurant Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service, customer satisfaction, and adherence to food safety standards. They manage staff, handle customer issues, and maintain inventory, all while striving for optimal restaurant performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and staff management.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Train new employees on service protocols and restaurant policies.
  • Monitor the dining area to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock control.
  • Support the implementation of health and safety standards and ensure compliance.
  • Handle cash management and assist in financial reporting as needed.

Relevant skills

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management or HRM/ TOURISM equivalent.

Work experience

  • Minimum 2-5 years customer service experience in a casual dining environment and experience in a Korean Restaurant, leadership role is preferred.
