Key Responsibilities:- Operate trucks safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport goods to and from specified locations as assigned.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to dispatch or maintenance personnel.
- Load and unload cargo when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and routine upkeep of the truck.
- Follow delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.
- Adhere to all DOT (Department of Transportation) and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
