Job Description

Reviewing and verifying medical claims for accuracy in coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), ensuring compliance with healthcare guidelines, and detecting fraud or misuse. Key tasks include analyzing claims, reviewing medical records, ensuring correct coding practices, and providing explanations for claim denials. The position ensures adherence to billing regulations and insurance policies, including Medicare and Medicaid, National Coverage Determinations and Local Coverage Determinations as they include the rationale in their coding review.

Qualification:

  • At least 2 yrs experience as a Medical Coder
  • A strong understanding of physiology, medical terms and anatomy
  • Proficiency in computer skills including typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of medical information
  • Strict attention to details
  • Knowledge of data entry and transcription

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php54,000.00 per month
