Job Summary:
The IT Administrator will support a 30-day infrastructure deployment project focused on
the configuration and validation of virtualized Microsoft server environments. This role
involves assisting the system provider in configuring virtual machines, setting up server
roles, validating deployments, and preparing as-built documentation. The ideal
candidate has hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, MS SQL,
virtualization platforms, and infrastructure support.
Key Deliverables:
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of virtual machines under the
guidance of the system provider (H3C UIS, VMware, or equivalent).
- Support the configuration and validation of Microsoft Server roles and features
(Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File and Print Services, NTP, etc.).
- Coordinate with network and system providers to ensure proper integration with
existing network, storage, and security systems.
- Assist in reviewing configurations and apply or recommend standard best
practices in server deployment and administration.
- Prepare and maintain as-built documentation, configuration logs, and deployment
reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
o 2–4 years of experience in IT systems administration and support.
o Hands-on experience in Windows Server setup, configuration, and
maintenance.
o Exposure to virtualization technologies and infrastructure projects.
Technical Competencies:
o Working knowledge of VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or similar
virtualization platforms.
o Familiarity with core Microsoft Server roles and services (Active Directory,
DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.).
o Basic understanding of network configuration, IP management, and VLAN
segmentation.
o Experience maintaining backup and recovery systems (Veeam or equivalent
preferred).
o Competent in preparing technical documentation and configuration records.
o Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell) is an advantage.
Contract Details:
Duration: 30 Days (with possible extension based on project needs)
Engagement Type: Full-time during deployment period
-Compensation: Around Php 1,000 – Php 1,200 per day
