About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join Isetann Department Store, Inc as an Operations Division Manager - Supermarket. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple supermarket locations within the Metro Manila area, specifically in Recto, Carriedo, Sta. Mesa and CubaoI. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction across the division.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of multiple supermarket locations
  2. Ensure stores meet or exceed targets for sales, inventory management, and customer service
  3. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
  4. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of store-level managers and staff
  5. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
  6. Liaise with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement best practices
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience (8+ years) in a senior operations or management role within the retail or consumer products industry
  2. Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and profitability in a multi-site environment
  3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically
  4. Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  5. Proficient in data analysis and using performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  6. Thorough understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, supply chain, and customer service
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
