CPA LAWYER

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tax Law Compliance, Planning, and advise / dispute resolution
• Corporate and Business Law / Contracts Management
• Regulatory Compliance
• Corporate Housekeeping
• Case Management
• Legal Risk Management

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primarily handling the corporate housekeeping of all the companies within the Group.
• Providing advice on tax planning, compliance, and dispute resolution
• Perform research and due diligence in legal matters concerning commercial contracts and agreements to be entered by the Company.
• Analyze and summarize the legal consequences of existing legal documents and contracts.
• Process and facilitate all existing and new business licensing and registration requirements/processes, permits, and compliance documents with all various regulatory entities.
• Appear before local and national governmental bodies and the community at large to maintain proper corporate interactions with these entities.
• Collaborate with the Head of Legal and Compliance in developing a corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the business interest of the organization.
• Provide clarification on legal language to anyone in the organization concerning contracts and transactions relating to regular business operations.
• Provide any other legal services or advice needed by the different departments.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a member of the Philippine Bar in good standing;
• Two (2) years of relevant work experience in the energy industry, especially relating to compliance and regulatory matters and/or corporate housekeeping (Is a plus)
• Must have prior experience as a tax lawyer
• CPA is preferred
