Main Scope of the Role:

The Service Crew is a dynamic team member responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by performing both front-of-house duties (such as cashiering and order dispatch) and back-of-house responsibilities (including food preparation and kitchen support). This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards, and supporting sales through prompt and accurate order handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Front-of-House (Cashier & Dispatch):

  • Accurately process customer orders using the POS system and issue Official Receipts.
  • Ensure product availability by updating inventory on Alfred and relevant third-party platforms.
  • Manage receipt documentation, maintain records, and assist with basic administrative tasks.

Back-of-House (Line Cook):

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure tools and appliances are properly maintained.
  • Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation for consistency.
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas in line with health and safety regulations.

Team & Operational Support:

  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order preparation and dispatch.
  • Contribute to daily operations while maintaining CQSMA standards: Cleanliness, Quality, Service, Maintenance, and Atmosphere.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Accuracy and completeness of transaction receipts
  • Prompt issuance of receipts and timely order dispatch
  • Efficiency in food preparation and cooking times
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Clear communication and effective teamwork

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment
  • Familiar with POS systems, kitchen tools, and food handling procedures
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, 6 days a week
  • Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting
  • Knowledgeable in food safety and hygiene practices
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and time management skills
