Summary of Functions:

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring goods and services in line with company standards and budgetary constraints. Ensures timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost efficiency in procurement activities .

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.

  2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.

  3. Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.

  4. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier contracts, and inventory levels.

  5. Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.

Qualifications: Minimum Educational Attainment / Course : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Special Training / Qualifications: Training in procurement processes and supplier management preferred.

Skills / Competencies:

  1. Strong negotiation and communication skills

  2. Supplier relationship management

  3. Analytical and problem-solving abilities

  4. Knowledge of procurement software and MS
