The CAD Operator is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) ssoftware. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to translate concepts and specifications into accurate and complete drawings used for our construction and on a specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 2D and/or 3D CAD drawings based on sketches, blueprints, or verbal instructions.
  • Revise existing drawings to reflect design changes and project updates.
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards, industry codes, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to resolve design issues.
  • Maintain and organize project files and drawing databases.
  • Conduct quality checks on drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Print, plot, or export drawings in various formats as needed for project deliverables.
  • Support project timelines by delivering drawings on schedule.
  • Update CAD libraries, templates, and standard blocks as needed.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a CAD drafting or design role

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of CAD software and drafting techniques.
  • Understanding of engineering or architectural terminology and standards.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks or deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Sketchup 3D Modeling is a plus.
  • Experience in industrialdesigns, structural, or architectural.
