About the Role:

We're looking for a warm, patient-focused Online Medical Receptionist to join our virtual care team. This role is all about supporting patients—making sure they feel confident and cared for when using our digital platform. You'll be their first point of contact, helping them navigate the system, set up appointments when needed, and answer general non-clinical questions.

You won't be responsible for reminders or backend admin—instead, your focus is direct, compassionate support that empowers patients to get the care they need, easily and confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Support & Care:

  • Be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for patients reaching out via chat, email, or phone.
  • Provide step-by-step assistance with using the online platform (e.g., logging in, creating profiles, navigating to appointment booking, uploading documents).
  • Guide patients through how to book appointments if they need help, without managing bookings directly.
  • Answer general inquiries about the platform, services offered, and how to access care.

Platform Guidance & Issue Resolution:

  • Help patients troubleshoot basic technical issues with a calm and empathetic approach.
  • Clearly explain features of the platform and how to access them.
  • Escalate any platform or access issues to the appropriate internal team when needed.

Patient Experience:

  • Ensure every interaction is warm, respectful, and supportive.
  • Make patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to use the service confidently.
  • Collect feedback from patients and report common concerns or points of confusion.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a patient support, customer service, or medical receptionist role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools and systems.
  • Respect for patient privacy and data confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
