JOB SUMMARY

• The Furnishing Supervisor oversees the end-to-end furnishing process for SMDC Good Stays units, ensuring timely and quality delivery of furnishing services. The role coordinates with affiliate suppliers, tenancy teams, and clients to manage furnishing requests, installations, inspections, and turnovers, while maintaining compliance and proper documentation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provides administrative support to the department, such as but not limited to the following:

• Processes client furnishing requests by coordinating with tenancy teams and affiliate suppliers to ensure timely and accurate response to client needs.
• Secures and reviews supplier quotations, ensuring alignment with client requirements, budget constraints, and company standards.
• Prepares, tracks, and facilitates approval of purchase requests and orders, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of furnishing items.
• Schedules deliveries, installations, and post-delivery services in coordination with tenancy teams and clients to ensure smooth execution and minimal disruption.
• Conducts or supervises final inspections of furnished units, verifying completeness, quality, and compliance with furnishing standards prior to client turnover.
• Ensures proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the furnishing process.
• Coordinates unit turnover to clients, ensuring all furnishing-related concerns are addressed and resolved prior to handover.
• Maintains organized records of furnishing transactions, supplier engagements, inspection reports, and client communications.
• Prepares regular furnishing activity reports, including status updates, supplier performance, and client feedback.
• Collaborates with other departments to support operational efficiency and resolve furnishing-related issues.
• Performs other related functions and tasks assigned by higher management to support the furnishing operations of Good Stays.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Preferably a graduate of Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
• With at least 2 years of experience in furnishing coordination, property management, or real estate operations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word & Excel); familiarity with procurement and inventory systems is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with suppliers and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple furnishing projects and meet deadlines.
