WHAT IS A/AN SENIOR PYTHON SOFTWARE ENGINEER?

We are looking for a talented Senior Python Software Engineer to help drive our initiatives forward. You will be responsible for architecting, upgrading, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the ecosystem, focusing on Front End and API systems.

In this role, you will help build the technical infrastructure and UI that enables our clients to manage their cloud infrastructure to lower energy consumption in data centers, ensuring our platform continues to drive exceptional outcomes.WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?   • Implement scalable backend services and elegant UI's that serve our clients' needs.
  • Help to quickly drive our products forward, while adding value to our stack.
  • Help minimize our technical debt, while enforcing and adhering to software best practices.
  • Enforce security and encryption standards across our stack.
  • Optimize processes for performance and scalability.
  • Manage CI and DevOps processes, automating wherever possible.
  • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure software reliability and facilitate continuous integration.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Degree in Computer Science or equivalent8+ years of professional experience shipping software

Strong experience utilizing PythonExperience mentoring other developers and setting standards.The ideal candidate will possess:Experience and understanding of working with AI tools programmatically as well as through prompting

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on debugging and performance optimization.Experience with stateless front-end software developmentAWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud computing service administration
