Graphic Artist

Job Purpose

The main task of this position is to create designs aligned to company's guidelines and parameters. Conceive designs that are artistically interesting and appealing to end consumers. Initiate layouts on packaging, merchandising materials and sales collaterals. Create visual concepts and incorporate changes recommended by the sales and management into the final design. Reviews final artwork prior production. Must work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline.

Key accountabilities:

1. Creation of designs and layouts.
2. Closely work with Sales on conceptualizing visuals and artworks.
3. Initiate updated layouts particularly of packaging materials.
4. Checks on competitor designs/layouts.
5. Must be able to see from the point of view of target market/ consumers and analyze how the designs will be perceived in trade.
6. Communicate with internal and external clients to ensure that designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information as requested.

Recommends and proposes new approaches in layouts and designs that captivates consumer's attention. Develop unique designs with the aim to reach target market.

1. Creates and Conceptualizes designs/artworks for packaging, merchandising materials and other collaterals
2. Assist sales in their artwork requirements
3. Reviews final output and ensures precise and correct details prior production
4. Commitment and compliance in the food safety and quality policy of Foodcrafters Inc.

12.   Perform other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior.

Essential Requirement and Competencies:

• Graduate of any four-year course, preferably Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia, BS Communication Arts or equivalent.

• Core competencies required for the position

• Minimum of two (2) year experience in graphic design preferably FMCG, Processed Meat (Frozen)

·     Ability to coordinate with vertical groups and independently resolve problems under the company's guidelines and parameters

·    Computer Proficient (MS Office applications. Adobe Photoshop, other graphic design software)

·     Works well under pressure

·     Well groomed, with good manners
