As a Mobile Engineer, you will design and develop cross-platform mobile features using React Native and TypeScript, ensuring seamless performance, responsive UI, and intuitive interactions that support patients and healthcare providers worldwide.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 5+ years of professional experience building mobile apps with React Native

• Must-have skills:

• React Native, TypeScript

• App deployment to Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Ability to work independently as the sole mobile engineer
• Strong English communication skills

• Experience consuming REST APIs

• Nice-to-have skills:

• Expo and Firebase

• Experience building scheduling apps

• Strong understanding of mobile UX/UI, navigation, and platform conventions

• Proficient in TypeScript with experience managing app state (e.g., Zustand, Redux)
• Ability to work with incomplete specifications and generalize design patterns
• Skilled in debugging and optimizing for mobile performance
• Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and native modules
• Familiarity with app store deployment tools (e.g., TestFlight, Google Play Console)
• Interest in performance, crash, and usage analytics
• Bonus: Experience with appointment booking/scheduling products or Firebase development tools

Your Daily Tasks

• Build and maintain cross-platform (iOS & Android) mobile features using React Native and TypeScript.
• Implement responsive, flexible UIs across devices and screen sizes.
• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs for dynamic experiences.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and designers to define intuitive interfaces.
• Ensure mobile performance, security, and polished user experience.
• Shape and evolve a growing codebase and component system for maintainability.
• Own the full lifecycle of mobile app development and deployment.
