Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences. This role involves working closely with our development team, product managers, and stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that meet user needs and enhance overall user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar tools.
  • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile design.
  • Familiarity with usability testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of front-end development principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
