Chinese Translator

We are seeking a Chinese Translator / Interpreter with strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English to support communication and documentation for ongoing hydropower projects. The role involves technical translation, coordination with Chinese counterparts, and assisting project teams to ensure smooth collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical documents, project reports, and correspondence between Chinese and English.
• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, site inspections, and coordination calls.
• Support engineers and project managers in communicating with Chinese contractors and suppliers.
• Review and ensure the accuracy and technical consistency of translated materials.
• Maintain confidentiality of project-related information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Language Studies, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Mandarin Chinese (Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
• Preferably with HSK Level 5 or above.
• Experience in hydropower, energy, or construction projects is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication and technical vocabulary understanding.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
