Cardiographics Technician

Job Description:

• Performs and/or assists in the performance of tasks such as but not limited to the following:

• Review medical history, orient and prepare patients for procedure;

• Performs technical procedures and ensure patient's safety and comfort throughout the procedure;
• Monitor patient prior to, during and after procedure, and promptly report any findings in the patient's condition;
• Provide post-procedural instruction to patient;
• Prepare initial interpretation of the results of procedure;
• Assist doctors in the preparation and reading of official results;
• Coordinate with patients and others on queries and matters concerning the Lab;
• Prepare, maintain and monitor patient's records and laboratory documents;
• Prepare, maintain and monitor supplies, medical equipment and instruments, and procedure area;
• Adheres to proper safety precautions and infection prevention and control;
• Ensures confidentiality and security of data, compliant with the requirements of the patient privacy or confidentiality act; and
• Perform other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Chief Cardiographics Technician, Head of the Department and Cluster Manager of Ancillary Services.

Job Qualifications:

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health; Accreditation (if required)
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Clerical and Computer skills; People Skills
• Organization skills; Attention to Details; Pro-active and Team player
• One (1) Full-Time position available
