Role Description:

As a General Accounting Specialist II, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a high volume of accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. You will follow established procedures for account reconciliations, assist in resolving escalated issues, and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and clarity. Your role includes reconciling bank statements, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. You will take ownership of complex reconciliations during month-end close and ensure strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal accounting controls.

Qualifications:

  • Nice-to-have NetSuite and Coupa (tools background)
  • Must have a minimum of two years of experience in General Account.
  • A two-year degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
  • Licensed CPA (PH)
  • Possess strong computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel, be detail-oriented, have excellent critical thinking skills, and be able to respond to issues in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overtime may be required occasionally.
