Java Developer (Japanese Bilingual)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Collaborate with architects, technical leaders, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and create effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot issues, propose improvements, and enhance system functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking business stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in
    Java/J2EE development
    .
  • Knowledge of
    REST frameworks
    (SpringBoot, Jersey, RestEasy).
  • Familiarity with
    Clean Code principles
    and best practices in software development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in engaging with
    Japanese business stakeholders
    (meetings, discussions, or documentation).
  • Open to assignments in
    Quezon City or Cebu (hybrid work setup)
    .

Preferred Qualifications

  • Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1–N3 certification
    is an advantage, but not required.
