Store Supervisor

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth store activities, monitoring inventory, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of grocery store staff (cashiers, baggers, stock clerk, merchandisers, etc.)
• Ensure that shelves are properly stocked, organized, and clean
• Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering, receiving, and checking deliveries.
• Implement and maintain store policies, procedures, and standards.
• Train, schedule, and evaluate staff to ensure productivity and service quality.
• Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor cash handling procedures and safeguard store assets.
• Prepare sales and inventory reports and meet store sales targets.
• Support Operations Manager in administrative and operational tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a grocery setting.
• Bachelor's degree or vocational diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of basic inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Customer-oriented, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Possess a positive character, integrity, and professionalism in dealing with staff and customers.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
