Purpose:

To maintain close control over all incoming and outgoing raw materials and spare parts, ensuring availability at all times to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities:

Implement proper control of inventory by supervising documentation of all incoming and outgoing raw materials and spare parts from storeroom.

Verify the accuracy of Receiving Reports against delivery documents and supervise receiving of incoming deliveries.

Monitor inventory status from receipts, transfers, and issues.

Collate and provide relevant statistical information to requesting person/department. Formulate corrective/preventive measures and ensure their implementation.

Identify the training needs of Storeroom Keepers.

Review and generate (as the need arises) monthly and weekly inventory reports needed by different departments related to stock status, a summary of issuance, transfer and returns. Perform other related functions that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time
