Job Summary
The Warehouseman is tasked by the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Team Leader to engage in the storage, movement and/or transfer activities of stocks inside the warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Picker
Sanitizes hands before reporting to post;
Locates items from the pick list and places them on the bin/container, ensuring that the description of articles, lot number, date of expiry, and quantity are correct;
Places items picked according to the Good Distribution and Storage Practice (GDSP) standards and segregate them according to product classification: medicines, galenicals, cosmetics, food and dairy, and household hazardous products.
Ensures that the picked items do not have damages or avoids damaging the products;
Throws empty boxes of items & loose plastics in the garbage bin;
Ensures that only one (1) box of the item is opened at a time all throughout. Thus, ensuring that prior to opening a new box of items, the opened box is empty;
Advises Stock Handler (Bodegero) if the item is not available in the Pick and Pack area;
Signs the pick list (PL) after picking the required items to signify who prepared the pick list, and for the Checker's reference.
Re-picks any items that are wrongly picked, as directed by Checker;
Picks as many items according to the prescribed line item target;
Completely fills out the Daily Production Output (DPO);
Participates in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the whole picking area in accordance with 5S;
Ensures safety procedures are followed in accordance with GDSP; and
Ensures the full understanding of the GDSP Principle and practices in the work area.
Others
Supports the Senior Warehouse Supervisor and Supervisor and Operations Manager in developing programs, policies and procedures relative to the improvement of the Department and its services;
Abides by the company rules and regulations implemented with regards to policies and procedures, quality management, and in the Employee's Handbook; and
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Senior Warehouse Supervisor and Supervisor & Operations Manager.

Educational Requirements
At least High School Graduate

Has experience working in a distribution company
