Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual GST Returns.
  • Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
  • Preparation of reporting requirements for the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients, including Single Touch Payroll and taxable payments reporting.
  • Preparation of financial reports including cash flow and budgets, plus other financial documents to support the businesses business advisory function.
  • Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business.
  • Communicate your tax knowledge/research with the team in a transparent and user-friendly manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in accounting, with significant exposure to Australian tax laws.
  • Proficiency in using Xero accounting software is a must.
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement. The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, AU (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)

Work Arrangement:Permanent WFH
