JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Supervisor to oversee daily financial operations within our construction company. This role supervises finance secretaries and finance staff, ensuring proper handling of company funds, accuracy in financial transactions, and compliance with internal controls. The Finance Supervisor will play a key role in monitoring day-to-day expenditures, reviewing bank transactions, and coordinating with external accounting auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the finance secretary and finance staff in managing:
  • Cash handling procedures (without directly handling cash)
  • Bank deposits and transfers
  • Billing and collections from clients
  • Disbursement documentation and payment scheduling
  • Review and verify daily expense reports and ensure all transactions are properly recorded and supported by documentation.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the accuracy of financial records and ensure timely updates in accounting systems.
  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding billings and ensure timely payment collections.
  • Coordinate and direct communications with third-party accounting auditors, providing necessary documents and clarifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and summaries for management.
  • Identify discrepancies or potential issues in financial records and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities under the guidance of senior management.
