Job Description:

•  Responsible for trading the plant output in the WESM or Reserve Market

•  Formulate strategies designed to maximize revenue generation

•  Coordinate with plant personnel to align plant schedules and dispatch

•  Analyze market trends and opportunities in the power industry

•  Assist in responding to WESM compliance notices

•  Validate WESM billing and settlement data

•  Perform other trading related tasks 

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics or Statistics

•  Must be working at least 1-2 years in the power industry

•  Must be familiar with WESM rules and operations

•  Must have good communication and presentation skills

•  Must be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint

•  Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
