Job Description

A 4th engineer's duties include maintaining and operating auxiliary machinery like pumps, compressors, and purifiers, performing watchkeeping duties, assisting with bunkering (fueling) operations, and handling various record-keeping tasks. They are also responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of their assigned equipment and assisting with overall engine room maintenance and repairs.
