-Works with business and line units to develop and document risk mitigation plans.

-Collects information and reviews documentation to ensure that risk scenarios are properly identified and evaluated.

-Assists the Credit Risk Officer in identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in business processes, associated data and supporting capabilities in the evaluation of the bank-wide risks.

-Assists the Credit Risk Officer in the collection and validation of data of the key risk indicators, monitors and communicates the status to relevant stakeholders.

-Assists the Credit Risk Officer in the development of sound policies and procedures on loan loss provisioning methodology.

-Assists the Credit Analyst and Account Officers in the loan account/borrower re-classification.

-Assist the Credit Risk Officer in updating credit risk management policy to reflect relevant laws and regulations of the regulatory bodies.

-Assists the Credit Risk Officer and external auditors in the review of loan loss provisioning methodology / ECL model.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable in Accounting and Finance, model validation and Microsoft office programs specifically in Microsoft Excel.

  • Analytical ability, strategic thinking and problem solver.

  • Bachelor Degree in Math/ Statistics/ Financial Management
