- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge of scheduling, attendance monitoring, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and evaluate cleaners.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Professional and approachable demeanor.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Job Description:
The Admin / Cleaning Staff Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of cleaning personnel to ensure that the workplace is maintained at high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role involves scheduling, monitoring, and supporting cleaners while maintaining proper administrative documentation and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Monitoring:
- Lead and supervise cleaning staff, providing guidance and direction.
- Monitor attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning quality standards are met.
- Administrative Duties:
- Prepare work schedules and assign tasks to cleaners.
- Maintain records of attendance, leaves, and performance reports.
- Handle payroll-related information or coordinate with HR for payment.
- Training & Development:
- Train new cleaning staff on company procedures, safety standards, and cleaning protocols.
- Conduct refresher training for existing staff to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Act as the point of contact between management and cleaning staff.
- Address staff concerns, conflicts, and workplace issues.
- Report to management regarding cleaning operations, incidents, or areas needing improvement.
- Operational Support:
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained.
- Monitor cleaning schedules and adjust as needed for special events or emergencies.
- Implement health, safety, and environmental standards within the cleaning team.
