Occupational Therapist

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Ensures verification of patients information, such as patients' name and birthdate
• Documents pertinent information in patients' charts, including initial assessment, re-assessment, treatment notes, progress notes, discharge notes, among others
• Executes complete and accurate Occupational Therapy management of the patient according to what is prescribed
• Performs appropriate competency skills in (i.e. Therapeutic Exercises, ADL Training, Adaptive Device Fabrication) in area of practice with respect to age, medical condition and residual disability  Performs correct patient care procedures
• Recognizes and recommends the need to revise Occupational Therapy management of the patient
• Provides patients/relatives with information and education regarding policies and rehabilitation management
• Ensures accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity

Qualifications:

• Must be a Board-Occupational Therapist
• Previous clinical experience is not required.
