Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Prepare and send out customer invoices, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Provide support for audits and tax preparation.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies related to accounting functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Proficient in Book keeping
