- An LTO Liaison Officer acts as a representative for companies or individuals, handling all transactions, document processing (registrations, renewals, franchises), and ensuring compliance with Land Transportation Office (LTO) rules, requiring strong organizational skills, knowledge of LTO procedures, and good communication to manage paperwork and liaise with LTO staff for timely approvals. They essentially bridge the gap between an organization (like a transport company or dealership) and the government agency for vehicle-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Processing:
Preparing and submitting vehicle registration, renewal, and franchise applications. - Compliance:
Ensuring all company vehicles and operations adhere to LTO regulations and requirements. - Coordination:
Acting as the main point of contact with LTO offices, other government agencies (LTFRB, BIR, etc.), and internal departments. - Follow-ups:
Tracking application statuses, following up on pending documents, and resolving issues. - Record Keeping:
Maintaining organized files for OR/CRs (Official Receipts/Certificates of Registration) and other important documents.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
Previous experience in government liaison, especially with LTO, is highly preferred. - Knowledge:
Familiarity with LTO processes, regulations, and required documentation. - Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities, plus computer literacy. - Character:
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and good moral character (for official LTO appointments).
