Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation layouts for glass and aluminum systems using AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Assist senior designers and engineers in the development of façade and glazing system designs.
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to create accurate technical details.
  • Perform material take-offs and prepare cutting lists for aluminum profiles, glass, and accessories.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and production to resolve design or drawing discrepancies.
  • Maintain drawing revisions and documentation according to project standards.
  • Ensure all designs comply with company standards, safety codes, and client specifications.
  • Support the preparation of as-built drawings and design documentation for project handover.
  • Learn and apply company standards for aluminum systems, fittings, and glass types.
  • Provide general drafting and administrative support to the design department.
