You'll oversee all aspects of our core financial operations, from ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting to providing strategic insights to our executive team. What You'll Do:

  • Oversee all accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions, driving continuous improvement and insightful analysis.
  • Develop and implement robust policies and procedures, championing a strong internal control environment.
  • Direct regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance and managing audits and examinations.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the board and executive management.
  • Lead budget development, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with risk management to identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license is preferred or an added advantage.
  • Extensive experience in accounting and finance, with significant senior management experience in banking or financial services will be an added advantage.
  • Proven leadership, management, and team-building skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Deep understanding of PFRS, IFRS, and tax regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including core banking and other accounting related tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
