Job Summary

The role analyzes, designs, develops, reviews, and tests applications and reports, ensuring best practices, ongoing improvement, and prompt issue resolution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage, organize, and schedule projects within the project portfolio.
  • Guide and support the application development team in planning, strategy, and execution.
  • Ensure the team conducts unit testing before endorsing outputs to the Process and Standards team.
  • Resolve issues, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain a knowledge base.
  • Monitor, assess, and evaluate each team member's performance.
  • Ensure the team's KRAs are properly tracked and measured.
  • Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned by the Process and Standards Head.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • With at least five (5) years of experience in software development; with at least one (1) year in a leadership role
  • Strong programming skills in PHP (Laravel framework), JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks
  • With hands-on experience in real-time data processing (WebSocket, Redis, Kafka)
  • With experience in relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server) and caching strategies
  • Solid understanding of mobile development and integration with backend services
  • Demonstrated expertise in Software Development Lifecyle, Agile methodologies, and project management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
